
Student Loans
*****The Denominational Relations Committee has recently made a change to the interest rate charged on both of our student loans. Beginning with the loans made for the 2013 - 2014 school year the interest rate will be the prime rate less one-half percent at the time of application.*****
The Baptist Foundation administers the Martha Watson Student Loan Fund, which provides assistance to students attending any institution of higher learning. These include seminaries, Baptist and non-Baptist colleges and universities, and technical schools. Loan amounts vary. Currently, students attending Baptist institutions can receive up to $2,500 per school year; those attending non-Baptist schools can receive up to $1,500 per year.

Another loan fund administered by the Baptist Foundation is the Luther H. Butler Student Loan Fund. This fund can provide loans to students attending one of the following Baptist schools: Campbell University, Chowan College, Gardner-Webb University, Mars Hill College, Meredith College or Wingate University. Students can receive up to $12,000 per school year.

Scholarship
Students residing in North Carolina who are preparing for full-time Christian ministry and are members or parents are members of a church associated with the North Carolina Baptist State Convention, may be eligible for a scholarship from the Bullard Family Fund. If you meet the stated criteria and have been accepted for enrollment in an accredited college, university or seminary, we encourage you to apply. Awards vary year to year.
