Russell C. Jones

North Carolina Baptist Financial Services

Russell is the newest member of the Foundation staff.  A native of North Carolina, he grew up in Durham as the son of a Southern Baptist minister, Crate Jones. 

After graduating from high school, he attended Wingate University, receiving a degree in communications.  Shortly after completing his studies at Wingate, he began working in the banking industry in various capacities.  Since 2000, he has worked as a commercial lender where he had the opportunity to work with many churches helping them finance their growth.  Russell says that during his 25 years as a banker, he found helping churches with their financial needs to be a very rewarding part of his career. God's hands have certainly been at work preparing Russell to be the Director of the Foundation's newest endeavor, North Carolina Baptist Financial Services, whose mission is to provide a means of financing to churches that are beginning new ministries or expanding existing ministries.

Russell lives in Charlotte with his wonderful wife, Lori and their three children, David, Christopher and Melanie.
