Vietnamese Baptist Church of High Point
Investing in the Future
The Vietnamese Baptist Church began as a ministry of FBC High Point 25 years ago. The congregation experienced steady growth and, in 2015, they began to look for a permanent home. Pastor Paul Cao contacted Russell Jones, Vice-President of NC Baptist Financial Services, knowing that they would need a financing partner for their plans. The church has relocated to their own space in Jamestown. The Vietnamese Baptist Church has invested funds in the church loan ministry to help other congregations find their permanent home. More recently, the church worked with Robert Simons, Central Area Manager, to set up an endowment to fund the work of their congregation in the days ahead. Vietnamese Baptist Church gives generously to the mission and ministry to which the church is called. We are delighted to partner with them as they reach out in their community and into the world.

Camp Cale
As NC Baptists, we are fortunate to have access to great conference and camp facilities—Fort Caswell, Camp Caraway and Mundo Vista. The North Carolina Baptist Foundation and NC Baptist Financial Services had the unique opportunity to partner with another great camp and conference center—Camp Cale in Hertford, NC. Camp Cale, associated with the Chowan Baptist Association, has had tremendous growth in the last ten years. Camp Cale provides year-round retreats and summer camp experiences for kids and teens. NC Baptist Financial Services has provided the financing and investment options for Camp Cale as they have added a new conference center and offices and two winterized bunk houses. We have enjoyed working alongside Matt Thomas, Executive Director, and his staff to help Camp Cale become a spiritual oasis in eastern NC. Check out Camp Cale at www.campcale.org and see what a good work they are doing in this part of our state.
