Biographical Info

After finishing her Associates Degree in Accounting at Hardbarger Junior College of Business, Dolly came to work at the Baptist Foundation in July of 1989. In 1997, upon retirement of the Foundation’s accountant, she became the Foundation’s Trust Accountant. While continuing her work at the Foundation, she began attending Campbell University’s evening adult program and completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Shortly thereafter, she earned her North Carolina Certified Public Accountant certification. After a short break, she enrolled at Strayer University and earned her MBA, writing a thesis on charitable giving trends. She now serves as Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations. She is a member of the National Association of Certified Public Accountants, the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the North Carolina Center for Non-profits.

Growing up in Sevierville, Tennessee, Dolly joined the United States Army after graduating from high school. She was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington where she worked as a chaplain’s assistant and was primarily responsible for the accounting of the various chapels’ funds.

For fun, she enjoys reading, hiking, helping others, and gardening.
