Biographical Info

Robert grew up in Fieldale, Virginia and moved to Clemson, SC to finish high school and attend Clemson University. He has a BS in Financial Management from Clemson and a Masters in Business Administration from Liberty University.

Robert’s work career has included hospital and college administration. He has also worked as a financial planner and a licensed investment advisor and stockbroker. He served as Controller for the Baptist State Convention of NC from 2001 until 2010. Prior to joining the Foundation staff he served on the NCBF Board of Directors. He also serves on the NC Baptist Men Board of Directors and served a term as President for Baptists on Mission.

Robert and his wife Kathryn reside in Hurdle Mills in Person County. They are very active in the work of their church in Roxboro. They have four adult children and two grandchildren. Robert and Kathryn love the Lord, love missions, and love serving.

For fun Robert enjoys fishing, gardening, grilling, reading, and traveling to wherever his grandsons are.
